The inspiration for my work comes from fond memories growing up in the 50's and 60's as a kid and seeing the Hot-Rods and “cool cars” in the neighborhood and at the local McDonald’s on Saturday nights. There is a romantic relationship between man and machine, most will tell you it's in their blood. I have many stories: from finding old cars in the woods, building cars, taking road trips, racing, and attending car shows...to name a few. I want to capture those stories on canvas and rekindle old memories of how the automobile was such an important part of our lives, then and now.
